Holy Grail: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer

Day 42:

Last week I shared a hair-care holy grail that I repurchase time and time again, and I decided to do the same today but instead of a hair-care product I would share a makeup holy grail item.

I’m only 19, but I’ve been using this age rewind concealer for years now. I started using Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind concealer to cover up acne/acne scars, and that is why I keep repurchasing it time and time again. As a concealer it works very well. It’s aimed to be used for dark circles, and I must say it serves it’s purpose.

It has 6 shades to chose from, and they blend so well. I think one time I even got a shade lighter or darker than I usually get, but it wasn’t that much of a difference and I was easily able to correct it and blend it in.

I usually buy mine at Target, and they sell for $6-$7. Also, I have to say that it does last me a long time for only being aย .2 fl. oz. tube.

For about a year now, however, I’ve been using this concealer as a highlighter also. I thought I was the only one who used it this way, but I’ve seen a lot more beauty gurus use it as a base for highlight in their makeup routines.

Overall, it is hands down the best concealer I’ve ever purchased. The formula is so amazing and very bendable. It’s not the best coverage when you compare it to a high-end concealer, per say, but I think it’s the best you’ll find in any drugstore and among the cheap ones found at Sephora.

Have you ever tried this concealer?

See you tomorrow!
xx Susana

      1. You should definitely try it, especially if you love the concealer!! The foundation is super creamy, blends really well and makes your skin feel so soft!! Lol ๐Ÿ™‚ it was my go-to for like 3 years, I only changed because I wanted to search for something a little more glowy ๐Ÿ™‚
